Comment Policy

Seeking Exposure Comment Policy

1.) I strongly encourage comments on anything that is posted on this site. Comments are as important, if not more important, then the posts themselves.

Blogs are about building community and growing a shared knowledge base. Whether you are a beginner or expert, please feel free to have your say.

2.) I strongly encourage members of the Seeking Exposure community to respond to comments as well.  If you think you have information that can answer or add value to the discussion even if the question or comment was not directed to you, do not be afraid to reply.

Everyone does things differently and it is always good to know multiple ways of attacking the same problem.

3.) I actively encourage relevant links to other sites, whether your own or someone else’s.  If you feel it adds value to the topic at hand please feel free to leave the link.  See spam policy for more information.

4.) I have a zero tolerance policy for spam… it will be deleted. This includes irrelevant comments or links.  Both are considered spam and deleted.

5.) I have a zero tolerance policy for disrespectful comments… they will be deleted.  I want this blog to be a safe learning environment for all users regardless of their background or experience.

If you read a post and have a question, regardless how basic you might think it is, please do not be afraid to ask.  In my experience, there are other people who also have the same question.

6.) In general, I do not mind signatures in comments because it gives commenters ownership of their opinions. That said, signatures are a grey area and can be borderline “spammy.”

If I feel the signature is not being used appropriately, the comment will be deleted.
